Truly enjoyed this peaceful and ideal hotel, easy to find. the breakfast was warm and extensive, it had pastries, fruit, eggs, bread, and cereals. - the location was stunning and amazing in a very relaxing area, very close to all the best restaurants as well as Franschhoek and the wine farms. I had a great experience at this tranquil and easily accessible guest house. the breakfast spread was delicious and varied with pastries, fruits, eggs, bread, and cereals. the location was gorgeous, nestled in a serene area close to top restaurants, Franschhoek, and wine farms.

The rooms are nicely appointed and the general atmosphere at Lavender Farm is one of peace and tranquility. We particularly enjoyed are professionally poached eggs at breakfast time - sitting under the trees and enjoying the outstanding views of the Franschoek mountains.
It was nice to have a bar fridge in the room although there was no stock in it - not even water. I don't know if that is their policy or an oversight?
